Sometimes you need your GP, but you don't need the waiting room. Best Life Medical Centre offers telehealth appointments to all existing patients who have been reviewed face to face by one of our practitioners within the last 12 months.
What telehealth works well for
- Discussing test results
- Follow-up appointments and reviews
- Repeat prescriptions and referrals, where clinically appropriate
- Mental health check-ins, when your doctor agrees it is suitable
- Care when you are unwell at home and travel is difficult
Your doctor will always advise if something needs to be seen in person — some examinations, procedures and assessments simply can't be done over the phone or a screen.
MyMedicare and telehealth
Patients registered with MyMedicare who choose Best Life Medical Centre as their regular practice have access to longer Medicare-funded telehealth consultations. Registration is free and takes a few minutes.
